Guest Pat Hall Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Need to make sure the harddrive of a server is not readable (without superhuman effort) after a server is scrapped. I've been reading about Low level disk format (not used on modern drives) and zero-fill utilities. Some Zero-fill say you have to get the one from the manufacturer of the drives/server and others say you can use any generic one. Has anyone every done what I need to do? All servers are running Windows 2000 oe 2003.
