Guest James Davies Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I've created a folder which I've encrypted using the EFS on Windows Server 2003 and I'm trying to access it from a mapped drive on a standalone PC (the drive was mapped using the credentials of the account that was used for the encryption) but I'm getting an access denied message. Is it not possible to access encrypted files over the network in a non-domain environment? If not can anyone recommend software that can do this? I've tried TrueCrypt but that has problems over the network. thanks.
