network drives drop unexpectedly

Thanks in advance for any help. Almost everyday on a large corporate

network, the network drives will drop.

The drives are mapped via vb login script. What happens is the entire

network (all network drives) at certain times will fail on transfers or any

exe's will terminate or lock up if run from the network.

Any idea why this could be happening?

Thanks again.

What DNS server do your clients point to for Preferred DNS? Alternate DNS?

Re: network drives drop unexpectedly

All machines are directed to a Windows 2003 PDC emulater for resolution and

a secondary DNS on a AD-integrated DNS server (also W2k3).
