Guest Mike_g Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I am trying to document the process of building my servers and want to do a screen capture of the WinPE screens used to select the OS to install. Does anyone know a method of doing this? I am not running within a VM environment. Thanks for any suggestions.
Guest Chang Yin Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 RE: Screen Capture in WinPE Hello customer, Thank you for your post. I am sorry to say we don't have a method to get a snapshot in Windows Preinstall Environment (WinPE). If you really want to capture the screen, I still think the Virtual Machine (VM) is the best choice. We can easily use the Virtual Machine to capture the screen from the Windows Preinstall Environment (WinPE), BIOS configurations, system start stage, and other situations where screen capture is not available. For more information about the Windows Preinstall Environment (WinPE) ,please refer to: http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/scvmm/default.mspx For more information about the Virtual Machine (VM), please refer to: Virtual PC 2007 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.mspx I hope this can help. Have a nice day!
