Guest Greegor Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 How many states have had class action law suits against Microsoft? What exactly were the ISSUES and how much is Microsoft paying out to people who made the deadline to file a claim? Why wasn't I notified until too late in my state?
Guest Mike M Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Re: Microsoft Class Action Suits Ignorance is such bliss as is ancient news. You would be better served making your post to a newsgroup covering such matters. This is a newsgroup accessed by residents of countries worldwide so if you have a problem that involves your location then I would suggest you post to an appropriate localised newsgroup since this is something that is unlikely to affect many/most of those posting here. Alternatively use Google and/or read the press. Since you appear to be unable to use a search engine the FIRST hit on Google when entering Microsoft Class Action is http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/consumersettlements/default.mspx -- Mike M Greegor <Greegor47@gmail.com> wrote: > How many states have had class action law suits against Microsoft? > What exactly were the ISSUES and how much is Microsoft paying out to > people who made the deadline to file a claim? > Why wasn't I notified until too late in my state?
Guest MowGreen [MVP] Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Re: Microsoft Class Action Suits Perhaps you live in the state of 'denial' ? Serially, if you never received a notice or knew about a class action in your state, then blame your elected officials for covering it up. Elected officials on the take ?
