Guest newsqlman Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Is there a way in Windows 2003 Server to have an email sent out when a service stops? Such as print spooler or things like that. The server does also have Exchange on it if that helps. Thanks.

Over there, confiugre it to run the ..bat file. Refer to this link on how to send email using batch file: http://www.paulsadowski.com/WSH/cmdmail.htm -- Jabez Gan Microsoft MVP: Windows Server - File Storage "newsqlman" <ndittoo@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:dbede7a8-61c9-4c9f-acd7-ecffcf19a5df@i12g2000prf.googlegroups.com... > Is there a way in Windows 2003 Server to have an email sent out when a > service stops?
