Bobcoop103 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I did a system recovery on a Vista computer and before I did that I ran a complete backup, my question is how can I get Windows to recognize a backup that was made before the recovery? Bob Quote
RandyL Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I guess the first question to ask is, where did you back them up to? Normally the Backup and Restore Center can restore them if the backup location is valid. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. Bobcoop103 Posted April 29, 2009 Author Posted April 29, 2009 Backup The backup was saved to a DVD Quote
RandyL Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Try this Bob. Put in the DVD. Go to Control Panel Home and click on Backup Your Computer or Go to Control Panel Classic View and click on Backup and Restore Center. Click on Restore Files. Follow the prompts.
