Guest marvs Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Hi hope someone could help me. We've changed ISP and upgraded our DSL line from 512kbps to 2mbps, our new ISP gave us a username and password then I changed the account information on our Speedtouch 546 router. Now I could surf the internet only when I'm connected to the router directly. My problem now is the computer clients connected to my ISA server which gives them an error: Forbidden you were denied access because: Access denied by access control policy I could ping from webpages from client computers without any problem, and we have 2 NIC's from our ISA server. Is this DNS problem or ISA configuration? Can someone pls. tell me how to solve this issue. Thanks,

Thanks, We 2 NIC on ISA: Internal: IP: 192.168.0.3 DG: 192.168.0.3 DNS: 192.168.0.3 / 212.93.192.4 External: IP: 213.184.182.114 DG: 213.184.182.113 DNS: 212.93.192.4 / 212.93.192.5 We have internal DNS server (192.168.0.3) and I don't know if it forwards request to our ISP DNS server. Is DNS server the one causing the problem since we've changed ISP, how can I check? We've also tried changing the IP on forwarders which we think the DNS IP's that we found on our DSL router. Appreciate all the help.

First, add a permit rule to local host as source and external as destination to any traffic from any ports, and move this rule to the top. Then check if ISA server can connect to internet itself. Regards
