Hello Charlotte. Did you change anything before you first encountered the problem? Also, did the keyboard suffer any damage or stress overnight?

Hi Charlotte,

Is your mouse pad working OK? if so use copy and paste to copy this- " control keyboard " (without the quotation marks)

Next click on "Start" then "Run" and then paste the above in the box and click OK.

In the window that opens click on "Hardware" Let us know what is in that box, and whether it says at "Device status" this device is working properly. or any other message.

And please do not start duplicate threads Charlotte as doing so will only increase the delay in response times. Hope you understand. Thank you for your co-operation.

OK, that appears to be an important driver. If you are affected by its uninstall, you must have a Logitech keyboard too. To resolve the problem, simply download the latest version of Logitech SetPoint from here. Install it and reboot. Installation should require mostly the functioning of the mouse so let us know if you get stuck somewhere.

Hope that helps. :)

Please act patiently Charlotte or else I will be forced to impose some restrictions. Please continue with your responses within this thread and do not start new threads again and again as this is known as flooding. Hope you get the point.

Hi again, I can't see why, but removing that Logitech program may have also removed the keyboard drivers, considering the mouse is working OK can you please follow what I suggested above, once on that "Hardware window, click "Properties" another window will open, click the "Driver" tab and you should see "Update driver" click on that and Widows should then go online and look for and install the latest drivers for your keyboard.

Hope that helps,

Nev.
