file changing

Hello;

 

My user are having some intermittant problems with changing/deleting file

names & folders.

 

The shared folders are setup with DFS and replication.

1st problem.

Every once in while, a user will try to change/delete a file name. When the

folder is refreshed, the changes are not applied. The same old file

reappeares or the file isn't deleted. This doesn't happen all the time.

This also happens to the users Home drive and their "my Documents folder"

that has been relocated to a folder on their home drive and if the "My Docs"

isn't synchronized to their PC.

 

2nd problem.

Some Users are setup with "my Documents" that are redirected to a folder on

their "Home Drive" drive. Their "My Documents" are also Synchronized to

their PC.

In XP when a file or folder is created/renamed/deleted, the changes are not

visiable until a refresh is done on that folder. This doesn't happen on

win2K. It works as expected in w2k.

 

Any ideas on what could be causing these problems.
