Guest Kenny Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Hi, I realise I must add a new IP address to my windows 2000 server for hosting another SSL site on a unique domain name on the same ssl port (443) of the same server. I already have several sites running on this server. Will I cause any downtime by adding a new IP address? Can I just go ahead and add the new IP address or could this cause the server to disconnect from the network? Many thanks, Kenny

Just go to the advanced tab of your network card and add the ip and it will be available in IIS. -B "Kenny" <subflux@gmail.com> wrote in message news:e79d3009-c430-4ce6-a2eb-9ee3281baf4f@i72g2000hsd.googlegroups.com... > Hi, > > I realise I must add a new IP address to my windows 2000 server for > hosting another SSL site on a unique domain name on the same ssl port > (443) of the same server. > > I already have several sites running on this server.
