Hi. I just received a new wireless router in the mail from Verizon. It is hooked up fine and obviously, I am on the internet with no problems. The weirdest thing happened though...my mouse and speakers stopped working when i hooked up the router. I moved the mouse to a USB port in the front of the tower and it now works. My speakers are still plugged into a port in the back and still do not work. I cannot plug them into the front because i do not have a sound device port in the front (only assuming that it might have the same effect as the mouse). I am not sure how to fix this problem. I contacted verizon and they said that they have heard of this issue before and to contact my manufacturer. I contacted gateway and all they said was i would have to pay 59.99 for a half hour session of tech support which may or may not fix the problem(rediculous). Both my speakers and mouse worked perfectly before...what happened and how can i fix it?

PS the same thing happened on a different computer with a different mouse and i never resolved it either.

please help!
