Client is have network connection problems. When they login in the morning,

getting the message that "can't connect to all network drives. When

they try to select something in the drop down menu, for example, in Word

2003, their computer freezes

and they have to reboot, or have to end task in task manager. I did update

the driver for the Lan connection on

the Server. Internet works fine. I posted this in the networking newsgroup

but did not get a reply.

It is happening to all users, so seems to be a global thing.

Any ideas!

Thank you for your help in advance!

Assuming this is AD, are all machines ONLY using the internal DNS server in

their ip properties? If you have an ISP or any other outside DNS listed,

this can cause it. Also if the DC is multihomed, this can cause it as well.

Post an unedited ipconfig /all of the server and a sample workstation

please. This will better help us determine or at least eliminate some

causes.
