Guest boe Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Hello, I'm running Windows 2003 R2 X64 SP2. I look at services and VS is set for automatic. No copies are made at the scheduled time. I notice even though it is set for automatic it isn't running so I right click and start the service. I check and the VS copies aren't made at the scheduled time - daily each volume is different - about 15 minutes starting at 6:45 AM - (we start work about 9:30 AM) Backups complete around 5:30 AM. I click on create now and it will make a VS copy of that volume. Each volume is set to enable - I tried disabling, setting a new shedule and enabling - no luck. I check the event view but don't see any errors at the time it is supposed to create the VS copies. Any suggesions - are their additional services I need to check? Thanks

Got it - Look at Task Scheduler in control panel for errors 1) Delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\S-1-5-18\d42cc0c3858a58db2db37658219e6400_xxxx" 2) Delete the scheduled task 3) Disable shadow copies and set it back up again "boe" <boe_d@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:OUdpsE%23QIHA.4684@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Hello, > > I'm running Windows 2003 R2 X64 SP2.
