Guest Genesis Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Does assigning a subnet mandatory under Active Directory Sites and Services? TREE Console: Active Directory Sites and Services -> Subnets The two Domain Controllers on my workplace has no data entered under Subnets but shows a subnet when i type ipconfig/all on the command line. Will this be a problem especially on DHCP leases?

How many sites do you have? If they're in the same one, they know about the subnet. You can enter one (and even rename the site to "World Headquarters" or whatever) but you don't have to.
