Guest ek17 Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 I'm using sbs2003 standard sp2 on a dell powerer edge 830. during sbs install or maintenance the outloo 2003 standard install fails. Any attempt to install from cd returns an invalid cd key error. This is now happening on word 2000 standard install any help - suggestions please ed k

SBS is quite different from the "regular" versions of the products in its suite. (and I wouldn't install Word or any desktop apps on the server, btw).

Are you talking about the Outlook product key? If so then the key does not match the CD you use. If you're still convinced that the two go together then you should ring Microsoft in your country. They will be able to tell you what's wrong.
