Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had a familiar problem or knows how to help....

I have windows 2000 and my brother accidentally managed to restore the default settings.

I used to listen to music through headphones (as i don't have any speakers). However, i seem to have lost sound and the images and videos are blurry (even my wallpaper on the desktop). I'm no computer wiz but i've tried to look at the settings etc to sort out the problem.

I'm completely stuck and can;t seem to get things back to how they used to be.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

as for the sound, can you here anything at all.check in device manager and make sure the driver is still install also check to make sure your display adapter driver is installed also..

you will know if you have drivers missing because there will be a yellow ! exclamation mark next to them....

if there is just re-install them.

unfortunatly windows 2000 doesnt have system restore.do you using nt backup or have any other backups.do you have your driver cd's
