Standard performance slightly better than Enterprise 2003 (R2 sp2)

I did some recent benchmarks, at least on the harddisks.. and i seemed to

find about a 5-10% increase in performance when running Standard edition r2...

 

Is this really true.. or is my benchmark utility just showing something that

really isnt there...

 

Any thoughts?

 

(I should mention these two tests were done as virtual servers on VS 2005 r2

sp1, and the benchmark used was performancetest v6.1, the passmark rating as

a general indicator)
