DSO Summary Properties for Audio/Video files

Hi,

 

I was wondering if anyone had any success reading the Summary properties tab for Audio/Video files? I am aware of a pretty old library DSOFiles which is written in VC++6, but I was wondering if that had ever been updated, or something newer written, to include stuff like Bit Rate and Duration for a file such as .avi or .wmv?
