Guest TJ Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Hi I have a Windows Server 2003 R2 running at Interim level and acting as a Domain Controller. I have read that this is only used if you have NT4 Domain Controllers on the network as well as 2003. I have a Win2k SP2 server running as a File/Application Server on my network. Will this be affected if I raise the functional level on the 2003 server? Thanks TJ

There are different feature sets based on the type of DCs participating in the domain and forest. If ALL your DCs in the domain and forest are 2003, go ahead and raise the Domain, then the Forest FLs to 2003. If not, don't. -- Regards, Ace This posting is provided "AS-IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
