looking for diskspace tracking utility

Hi,

 

I am looking for a utility that could track the historical development of my

harddisk.

I know "Treesize"... that's basically a nice tool, but lacks a historical

database.

 

"DiskScout" is pretty nice... but I wonder if there is anything else that I

could evaluate ?

There are a number of shareware and commercial packages such as those from

ScriptLogic that can do that job. There are also external monitoring

services that provide tracking and logging of server activities. Check out

http://www.net-directions.com for our Remote Monitoring service. We track hard

drive space, memory utilization, virtual memory, and running server

processes. You get a weekly or monthly report showing the historical graphs,

and you can run on-demand reports for any time period.
