Local\Domain login problem

Setting: client: Windows XP, Sp2. IE7 Browser-based used with app that

supports "Single Sign On" (SSO)

SSO works well for all users in Domain Group except for one (say Bob). When

Bob accesses the app via browser it asks him to type his Windows credentials.

He does this and he is in. If Bob logs in to another computer and starts the

same app he is NOT asked to log in (so SSO is working there.). I noted on

Bob's computer (where he has trouble) that the username in the login box

appears as <local machine name>.<FQDN domain name>\bob. Any ideas on this

one much appreciated.

TIA,

RE: Local\Domain login problem

Hi

I would check if PC is in domain, and user logged in to domain not to

local computer (says "this machine") in drop-down menu at login screen.

Review control panel-user accounts-advanced-manage passwords.
