Hi could somebody help....I would like to connect my dell inspiron 530 to an hdmi tv,I used to use an svideo cable but i cannot plug it into my new sony tv....thanks..David

Hi and welcome to Free PC help.

I can't find out for sure but as well as the S Video socket, does the graphics card or output also have a DVI socket?

If so, adapter cables are available. Have a look here-

While this is from Newegg.. I use this particular piece on my laptop.. that's quite a cool looking machine you got there, btw... they have quite a few options on getting TV to your PC..
