been using win7 (from XP) for a couple months at work and now dont like going back to using vista at home :rolleyes:

 

 

Quicker and snappier

 

Faster searching

 

Larger more functional taskbar

 

New windows function drag to top to max and side to compare.

 

Feels more organized with libraries than vista.

Any one tell me what is difference between window vista and window 7. I am confusing that why window 7 is better then widow vista.

In my opinion, there is not a huge difference. The biggest thing is it's faster than Vista.

I originally had Vista installed on my Laptop & I got frustrated with Vista as I found it slow to boot up & shutdown. Vista has an annoying habit of being slow to load MS office documents & other programs. Even with 2 Gig memory. I'm fairly new with Windows 7, but the more I use it the more I like it. Vista annoyed me & my wife so much we downgraded to XP, but had other issues (that's another story - read my help requests!). Eventually we decided to go with Windows 7 from XP.

 

I'm sure other people have been using Windows 7 longer than me & can explain more differences

I have been using 7 since Beta and now have it on all 5 of my pc's I also put the RC1 on my nephews laptop after he decided it be good to delete the OS he was using vista basic with one gig of ram 256 used for graphics the difference in speed and resources used is great, and going by the fact win 7 has already outsold vista worldwide seems the public agrees
