windows 10 How To UnFnck... excuse me, fix SCCM 1607 and Upgrade to 1802

Hello,

 

 

I have been trying to upgrade from SCCM 1607 to 1706 then to 1802. I never have gotten past the first update to 1706.

 

 

First, I got stuck at "checking prerequisites". I first run

 

cmupdatereset.exe -S [computername] -D CM_001 -P 0F11CAA4-7F7F-454B-96D6-75F427D015CE

 

 

as seen in a BTNHD video,

 

 

 

I probably should have run this to get rid of the download and start fresh

 

 

cmupdatereset.exe -FDELETE -S [computername] -D CM_001 -P 0F11CAA4-7F7F-454B-96D6-75F427D015CE

 

 

Now, it's stuck in "installing" status. When running cmupdatereset commands, I now get:

 

[Error]

 

0x80131500 - Package is in post-replication state. CMUpdateReset.exe cannot reset the update. Please call CSS to resolve the issue.

 

 

This is pathetic Microsoft. Fumbling around forums like a drunk bum in an ally searching aimlessly and helplessly for a crumb of information. If this was a Cisco router or switch I can easily wipe and reconfigure. Ohh you've only get a 726 billion market cap, maybe not enough money for R&D I guess... what a f'n joke and disgrace.

I tried it and it did work. Maybe you're missing something.
