Hi all,

Anyone can explain what the server firewall per port feature included in

SP2 does for the 2K3 server? We recently updated to Windows 2003 server SP2

from SP1 on an Exchange server (version 2K3 Sp2) that also serves as

sceondary DC/DNS.

After that some Outlook clients, were not able to connect to Exchange and

goes offline. It was resolved by going to security setings of the Outlook

clients and selecting NTLM password authentication from the default setting

of Kerberos/NTLM authentication. I suspect it was something to do with the

firewall per port included in SP2. Funny thing is, I know I checked that the

server is not running Windows Firewall after the upgrade. Appreciate the

inputs. Also is it ok to leave the current Outlook client setup as is?
