Scheduled task errors

Hi

 

I'm getting a re-occuring error when running scheduled tasks on a windows

2003 server. Error is

 

The attempt to retrieve account information for the specified task failed;

therefore, the task did not run. Either an error occurred, or no account

information existed for the task.The specific error is:0x8004130f: No account

information could be found in the Task Scheduler security database for the

task indicated.

 

I can find a solution for server 2000 at

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328773 but nothing for server 2003.

 

Can anyone help?

Hello GA,

 

Or maybe did you uninstall SP2?

 

Scheduled tasks that ran before you uninstall Windows Server 2003 SP2 may

no longer run after the uninstall is complete

The server is running service pack 2, I'm not sure if it was uninstalled and

then re-applied at any time as it was a colleague who built the server. I

will have to confirm with him.
