Jelly Bean Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Hello and welcome Leea. Do you get any error message or do they just appear to of just stopped functioning? Lets try this. Click start scroll to my computer and open properties. Click on hardware tab then device manager. Use + to open the drop down box next to USB. Choose update driver. Do this for each USB item in the list. Or: Right click on each item and choose uninstall. Uninstall all the USB items then restart the computer. Found new hardware wizard will reinstall them. Or: Or you can download the latest chipset driver for your computer as this contains USB hardware drivers then in device manager right click on each USB item listed and choose update driver. These drivers can be downloaded from your computer manufacturers website under support tab. leeajohnson Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 yeh the external hd works fine just connected my camera and its not showing either on the camrera or pc that its connected?? strange! Quote
Jelly Bean Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 The issue maybe the camera and not the USB ports. Try testing it on another computer. Or reinstall the software and drivers see if that fixes the issue. Quote Rwy'n ceisio fy ngorau......................
