I received a Pm today from Bob12a and he said he had a Heart attack.

I wished him a speedy recovery.

He said he feels very weak at the moment.

What age would he be? Nev.

Confidence, is the feeling I get, moments before I stuff something up.

Due to my old and once trusty Samsung pocket camera getting a smashed screen rendering it useless, I bought a new Panasonic DMC-TZ18.

I then took it out to a favourite little railway, the Ravenglass and Eskdale fifteen inch gauge line, here are a couple of shots of the engine running on Tuesday.

At the top end of the line, Dalegarth, the engine Northern Rock which after some lunch, took me back down again.

Ah, the good old Fezzy railway, at the Blaenau Ffestiniog station, know it well Ken. Good photo considering the obviously poor weather. Might go there next week myself, as I would like a look at the new extension on the Welsh Highland line.

Here are a couple of view of the Welsh Highland Line taken last year. The first is at the bottom of Aber Glasyn Gorge heading towards Beddgelert the second is taken north of Beddgelert heading towards Porthmadog. It was strange seeing trains running along the line as we always used to walk through the tunnels at Aber Glaslyn when i was a wee nipper.:D

Nice shots Helcaraxe, first one is shot into the sun, but that gives a stark level of contrast which really does bring out the smoke and steam from the engine. Even if not deliberate it is worth noting if you want that effect again.

The other is well framed and in the perfect lighting conditions, so well done!

Also, yes you got the upload right as I think there may be a bit of automatic resizing while uploading anyway.

 

JB, that looks like a fighting machine, you just need the holster for the shotgun on the back.

 

Well OK the law might not like a shotgun, how about a water pistol?

It is only a few months old.It is a big machine belive me it will go 15 miles on a full charge.It is scairy to be in it as it feels high up from the road.Im going to pimp it with pink cusions and a welsh flag.

 

OMG a woman was on the crossing parked were she should not of been,I said excuse me several times.She bent down looked and me and spoke to me as if I didnt have a brain,I am sorry she said you cheeky little grrrrr.....

 

Get off the crossing path you silly woman.
