Anybody have any good or bad experiences with any particular Ultimate Boot

CD? I would be interested in hearing about

this since I am looking for one.

Thanks,

Sam

Re: Ultimate Boot CD?

Usually the CD contains a number of programs (ie, password extractor,

partitioning, etc.). I remember some system admins

commenting on using these programs, but for the life of me I cannot tell you

where I saw it.

Re: Ultimate Boot CD?

Hello SPG,

It is really useful, but you have to prepare it yourself. A lot of free programs

are available for it and you need an official/licensed installation disk

ofcourse. We use it in our company for recovery, connecting to servers with

different security levels and it works great.

Best regards

Re: Ultimate Boot CD?

Thanks Meinolf

My intended use for most part is for our workstations. There is always some

kind of crap going on at any given time. As for our 3 servers, I have them

pretty much nailed down and don't expect (yea I know, never say never) any

problems. Thanks

again.
