Guest Wolfeymole Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Ok does the box have a COA (Certificate of Authentication) sticker on it anywhere. Here is an example of one on a Dell box. http://s92615490.onlinehome.us/ebay/vostro1500/coa.jpg Quote

zinglebarb Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 http://extremetechsupport.com/forum/downloads/4256-windows-vista-recovery-console.html perhaps download the above and run the start up reapair. I do not use this as I have Vista media so I do not know if it requires and commands or if its graphical. You burn the image to cd and then boot from the cd. RandyL Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Hi densil; Is this on the same computer after you got it back from the shop? Is this an unrelated problem? I ask because new topics should be posted in a new and different thread. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
