No Terminal Services License Server was found

I have recently installed a new terminal server. The license server was

already configured on the domain controller. The TS is configured to run in

per user mode. I have installed the 20 user cals on the license server.

The new server reports from the Manage your Server screen that "No Terminal

Services License Server was found". I have run lsview and never get anything

to populate in the table. I setup the log file and set it to update every 2

minutes. I let it run for 40 minutes and nothing ever went to the log.

When I run lsreport, it reports that No servers found.

I tried confuguring the license server through group policy and that did not

help. I have since removed the setting.

When I run Terminal Services Configuration and go to to License Server

Discovery mode, it reports "As Specified" If I open those properties,

Automatic is selected, but everyting on the screen is grayed out except

cancel. If I open Terminal Services Licensing on the new server, it shows

the license server and the proper licensing. Why doesn't it see the license

server?

RE: No Terminal Services License Server was found

Never Mind. I was able to use article 279561 to override the license server.
