phillipa247 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I have a Compaq Presario 2500 laptop which runs on XP Home SP2. The graphics driver I need is the ATI Mobile Radeon but there's so many different versions that I don't know which one to get. Any help anyone could offer would be really appreciated as I've had this problem for nearly a year. If anyone could give me a link that'd be great as the website I found confused me. Thanks Quote
Jelly Bean Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) Hello and welcome to the forum. You can either input the information of the laptop here: HP United Kingdom - Computers, Laptops, Servers, Printers and more Or here at ATI: Graphics Drivers & Software Search Drivers and Downloads Provided you know the model number of the graphics card. This should tell you make and model of graphics card: Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit Jelly Bean. Edited June 7, 2009 by Jelly Bean Quote Rwy'n ceisio fy ngorau......................
phillipa247 Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 Hi Jelly Bean, thanks for helping. I don't know what graphics card I have so I used the Belarc Advisor but under the 'Display' section it said "None detected". It stopped working after I re-installed Windows last year. Quote
Guest Wolfeymole Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Are you saying you never installed the graphics driver after you re-installed XP Phillipa? What is the exact model of the Presario. Here are some examples. Compaq Presario 2500 (DP662AV) CTO Notebook PC » Compaq Presario 2500 (DP663AV) CTO Notebook PC » Compaq Presario 2500 Notebook PC » Compaq Presario 2500AP Notebook PC » Compaq Presario 2500LA Notebook PC Quote
