my problem is yhat i am using win xp, having drive C:,D:,E: i format C: drive, and i tried to install win xpbut

i get error"disk boot failure,insert system disk and press enter"

until i check fist boot device as cdrom and insert cd after this m/g. but i am not fixing this problem plz help me.

i have more important data in D:,E: drive so i can't format my HDD completely.

PLZ give me right advice.........

boot from the cd,and do a repair install on the c: partition....

make sure you dont have a floppy disk in the drive when your pc is booting....

a repair install or a format and install of c: is probably going to be the quickest fix.
