This message box gives three options: OPEN, CANCEL, or CONFIGURES. To some users, this annoying message never goes away. After some educated and logical research, I find out that "IDS_..." messages are related to Logitech. Most likely, this only happen if the user has a Logitech brand product installed on to his/her computer. Specific message: "IDS_CONF_DIALOG_TITLE" is to ask for permission for some product upgrades. Users can: Upgrade the Logitech products, or Go to Task Manager and End Process the "Logitech Update" </quote> -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Shell/User, A+ http://dts-l.net/ http://dts-l.net/goodpost.htm "beejay" <beejay@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7A5FC706-C872-4AC1-ADBB-D453975D7065@microsoft.com... > infrequently I have a dialog box qppear when first opening up; > box says IDS_CONF_DIALOG_TITLE. > Can anyone help me rid of this box, and/or does it mean anything. > TIA > -- > beejays
