XP Pro & Expired Passwords (AD)

Hi,

 

We have a recurring issue where users are able to log onto our Active

Directory domain, with passwords that have expired.

The user is then denied access to all the network resources (Exchange

included) until they log off, then log on, when they then get the "your

password has expired, and you must change it now" prompt.

 

It doesn't happen all the time, as I think most people will change their

password when it is nearing the limit, it seems to happen more often when

people are away (like over Christmas) when their password expires when they

are off.

 

Any ideas!?

 

We are running XP Pro on the workstations and a mix of 2000 and 2003

servers.
