WHAT server are you planning on installing? Are you attempting to load from scratch, or do you intend to try recovering your original install? As far as I know, the XP drivers all work in 2k3r2 so from that standpoint you shouldn't have any issues.
Guest Jez Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Re: New Server Motherboard - Advice Please Sorry I should have said.. I'll be installing Windows 2003 Server as a fresh install. Doing a recovery or repair never seems to work as well. If I can I may install 2008 Server.. But I'm happy enough with 2003. As long as I can use the XP drivers than I should be OK !! The board has SATA and I have a new 320GB SATA Drive so I want to use that, as long as 2003 will work with it ! Thanks for any advice you can offer...
