Event ID 13568 JRNL_WRAP_ERROR

I just got an Event ID 13568 error. Apparently, this a journal wrap error

and I have read all the details in the event log instructing me to change

the enable journal wrap automatic restore value then start and stop ntfrs.

This is the only DC I have in my domain and have read the possible causes

for this problem. None seem to apply and I can find no other error messages

or flags in any of my event logs.

I also searched the KB and Technet, but the articles I have found also

reference possible causes that again do not seem applicable.

I just want to know if I should do as instructed? If I force this recovery

am I doing an authoritative or non-authorative restore?

Will appreciate any help or suggestions.

I fixed this problem perform a non-authoritative restore of the data. This

search result may help too.

Solved: Event ID: 13568Event ID 13568 - The File Replication Service has

detected that the replica set "DOMAIN SYSTEM VOLUME (SYSVOL SHARE)" is in

JRNL_WRAP_ERROR. ...

Thanks for the feedback. Shortly after I posted this I went back through

Google search results I had for this Event and found the BurFlags

suggestion. I did both what was suggested in the Event Log and also edited

the registry to set BurFlags to D2. I just wanted to be certain I needed to

do a non-authoritative restore.

I still don't know what cuased this. In going back through the logs I

notieced that that afternoon the Server had shut down and restarted

unexpectedly. My brother noticed the system had rebooted and logged in. I

didn't know it had happened. The only thing I can find that may have caused

this is that data was truncated.

Again, thanks for the help
