'My Computer' seems to hang

on my Windows server Std 2003 box everything seems to be running fine apart

from then i click on My Computer, the new window seems to hang and do

nothing. i cant seem to close this. in Task Manager it shows as not

responding. sometimes i can kill the process which i then need to create to

get the windows bar back. there are at least 2 explorer.exe processes, one

of which i can not kill

 

if i go through Windows Exporer i can nagigate the filesystem fine as longs

as i dont click on 'my computer' in there or it freezes again

 

any ideas?
