Hello, ths is my first post dudes and dudettes so please bare with me if i'm a bit slow.

my problem is probably a basic one but most of my life problems are so any help would be awsome. i am running vista on an acer . i have had my laptop for around two-three yrs it still runs well alittle slower obviously. i mainly download music movies and apps. i use my laptop mainly for the internet, games and music. i store pretty much all my downloads on the second of my hard drives. however my primary hard drive has my music and some pictures on it. the primary drive is now only twogb off being full and is making my comp runn much slower and i cant seem to find where all this stuff clogging it up is!

i dont think i have two mainy programs running

i have already downloaded a program called Advanced System Care 3

i have done disk cleanup and tried deleting any programs i dont use. there aint any, i dont really use many.

i have also found a folder called Windows this has a size on the disk as 14gb obviously this sounds like a important folder but this size seems exessive

any help in reducing this would be really helpful as i cant afford an extenall drive.

look forward to getting some feedback. TA

Don't be daft Goatboy, I wrongly assumed that you could.

Ok right click on Computer and choose Manage.

Left click the Storage section if it is not open and choose Disk Management.

Ok this is very simple as you just need to transfer all your stuff to the D: drive, this will then free up space on the main drive Goaty.

I know that if you double click Computer and choose Properties for D: the entire disk will show Pink, ie Free disk space.
