Best to go back to SP2.

In the future, please don't multipost - if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by posting a single message to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread. Multiposting wastes everyone's time, including yours, and may lead to your actually getting *less* help rather than more. See http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm

Pssst....nope - it's because the PST files are located by default in c:\documents and settings\username\local settings, not in application data. However, this is not the only problem with the OP's approach.
Guest Ahmad Sabry Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Re: Roaming profiles XP SP3 Hello ! Please review all the groups in which you posted your original message. > how long > "DAYS" should i wait as average to post it in another if not replied > ?? Many - but I did reply. > > sorry again. You can post a single message to Group1, Group2, Group3 - that's a crosspost. > what about "not the only problem with the OP's approach" , we need to > make centeralized location to backup all clients Mails in 1 Box. > What are other problems your mean there ?? PST files are not suitable for corporate networks. You should be using Exchange. I made other (less optimal) suggestions in my other reply, such as keeping the PST files in the home directory, but this is not supported. PST files are not meant for this sort of thing. > Many thanks for your assistance. > > > "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" > <lanwench@heybuddy.donotsendme.unsolicitedmailatyahoo.com> wrote in > message news:ueok6RCUIHA.4752@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... >> Ahmad Sabry <asabry@askmePLZ.com> wrote: >>> Hello !! >>> i'm using roaming profiles in a windows 2003 with my XP sp3. >>> is there any problems related to syunchronizing the outlook *.pst >>> files from the local application data to the shared roaming >>> location ? if there's no problem .. may any one tell me why it >>> doesn't synchronize ? >>> Thanks >>> Ahmad >> >> Hi - I replied (at length) to your identical message in another >> group.
