Guest rg Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 For the past month and a half I started getting the following error. Event ID 1000 Error occurred while wizard was checking the current windows product license. Error Code: 8 0x8007000e. This server has been going strong for 4 years, it currently hosts our website. It has not lost functionality. I have noticed that the page file is up to 2.1 GB and winlogon.exe is running at 200mb. I'm worried that if I reboot the server, it will not be operational because it can't check the product license. We have a hosted web application that we cannot afford to go down for several days. Any thoughts, one way or the other whether I should just reboot? Thx RG
