Guest Simon. Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Hi, I was just wondering if there was a necessity to have licensing logging service enabled on Windows 2000 server at all? Also, I upgraded a win2k domain controller to win2003. Licensing service is still enabled. Should there be any issues or dependencies if I disable this service on all servers? thanks in advance.
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Re: Licensing service in win2000 and win2003. Hello Simon., The license logging service can be disabled without any problem. It does not work like expected either in 2000 or 2003.
