Sometime when I try to open a certain website, I get an alert message stating that "The website .... cannot be opened. The operation was terminated." (I'm not sure of the exact English phrasing, I don't have an English Windows nearby right now.) While this dialog is displayed, the page keeps loading in the background. However, as soon as I click OK on the dialog, the page disappears and I get the default 'the page cannot be displayed' page.

Now, obviously the website could be displayed, otherwise I wouldn't see it load in the background. Maybe a part of the page couldn't be loaded, sure. But why does the part of the page that did manage to load have to disappear?
