Guest chocbrandy Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I'm new to server migrations.....and need help.. I have new dell power edge 2950 that need to replace on old server. My question is what is the best way to transfer all the data: (active directory, DNS, sql express, dhcp, files and programs) settings and configuration from the old server to new? I created a complete backup of the old server including system state. I tried to restore everything to the new one, but i'm gettting errors. thanks, i appreciate the help.
