Accessing ACCPAC from Terminal Server is slow

Hi All

For last couple of weeks accessing accpac got slow from terminal server. I

have checked under performance and PF usage is 1.89GB processor usage is

fine. We have 4GB Ram and there is good enough hard disk space.

I have also notices that logging into Terminal server is also slow. I

rebooted the server which worked untill all the user logged back in.

We have a server where accpac is installed only desktop version is installed

in Terminal Server where everybody access accpac from. But when we connect

directly to accpac server, accpac runs fine which indicates that the issue

lies somewhere in Terminal Server.

Can someone please help me with this.

Andrew

Hi,

How many user sessions are up before the slowness is observed?

Thank you for your reply

Well maybe 15 users, but we have dual processor and 4GB ram and over 4GB PF

allocated. So i don't think 15 to 20 user is any issue for the system. Just

add to this some of the times we see this error message while logging into to

accpac from Terminal Server " this action cannot be completed because the

other program is busy. Choose switch to the activate the busy program and

correct the problem"

Please let me know what can I do. Thank you

Andrew
