What is the make and model of your pc Wizard as you may need an updated driver.

FujitsuSiemens, this is the make.

If you need more info off me let me know

Hi Wizard, we could do with the model name or number, Fujitsu Siemens made quite a few different models some quite different from others.

Secondly we will do our best, but this manufacturer does not give very much in the way of technical information or support, so we may be struggling here.

Third, do you know if service pack 3 for Windows is installed? You should see this in the general tab of System properties, it will give you Microsoft Windows XP and what version, then under that the service pack number, 1, 2, or 3.

If it shows as service pack 2, please do not update to service pack 3 yet, till we sort out drivers if needed.

next is go back to the Hardware tab in System Properties, is there a + in a square box on the left of "Multimedia Audio Controller"? if so please click on that square, it should open a list of the devices installed, and which one or ones have the yellow ! mark, let us know which ones please as well as the above.

Ok, Seems that site is down.

Try this, its direct from Realtek:

Realtek

Edit: I see you have to tick the box and then click Next

If the page is correct it should be the second one from top, choose Express

Type in the Random password and click download, then Save the file to your desktop.

When it is finished downloading, double click the file on your desktop to run the installation and follow the on screen instructions.

Hopefully that should sort it :thumb:
