How can I transfer 2003 Terminal Server License Server licenses to a new 2003

server?

Reinstall the license server on the new server. After the installation the

activation depends on the type of licenses. Maybe you'll need to call

Microsoft to reactivate, if you have an agreement number, complete the number

and assign the licenses.

Steps:

1. Install new TSLS (License Server) on a different machine and Activate it

2. Call Microsoft Clearinghouse, they will reissue you licenses; Make sure

you have all paper work related to purchase of licenses

3. Now you can install re-issued licenses on new License Server

4. Make sure your TS (Terminal Servers) are able to discovery new TSLS

(License Server)

5. Uninstall the old License Server
