That's how I've been implementing it for our clients. Folder redirect My Docs and the desktop along with Synchronization of any files they need from a share. Once a share,or rather a mapped drive is set to synchronize, it will always show up on their current desktop. To make that show up when they are on another machine, will require roaming profiles (which would also include the Start menu, etc that I don't bother with), but I don't bother since their logon batch file will give them the mapping and they can go in and decide what to Sync if necessary but usually not since syncing is mostly required really for laptop use only.. Apps still need to be installed to read/work with files on their desktops and My docs folder. -- Regards, Ace This posting is provided "AS-IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
