I had a 5 gig external HD that I use for data storage.* I used it in a Mac to get some files off the Mac onto the drive.* Plugged it into my Vista box and it was a no go.* vista wouldnt pick it up without a reformat.* So I went ahead and did the reformat, what the hell.* Drive worked well and I could transfer the needed files.* Went back to the Mac to get those files I needed and the same problem came up when I pugged said drive into the Vista machine.
